• The theme of the competition in 2019 is: Airport.
• Submission Guidelines

• The competition is open to all amateur and professional cartoonists.

• Each performer is allowed to submit maximum three works.

• The cartoons submitted to the competition may be prepared as original drawings, digital printings or computer printouts.

• The drawing technique is open-ended. Drawings may be colorful or black and white.

• On the other hand, performers are required to put signatures on their drawings.

• Participants must write their names, surnames and addresses behind their drawings. Also, they must complete the

• Participant Information Form placed under submission page and send it together with their drawings.

• Cartoons sent may be of the ones previously published somewhere but previously awarded cartoons are not allowed to submit.

• Cartoons submitted for selection will be able to be printed in the publication of Anatolia Tourism Academy and in other printed materials

• of this organization such as books, catalogs, brochures, postcards, web sites and posters. All rights for any other

• publishing except these belong to the owner of drawing.

• The cartoons that will be selected after the first evaluation will be announced between Februrary 1 and 9, 2020.

• The objections will took into account between Februrary 1 and 9, 2020.

• Finalist cartoons will be published in the album. Cartoonists whose drawings published in this album will be sent a copy of the album.

• Regardless of award-winning or taking place in the album, all the cartoons submitted for selection will not be returned.

• All the cartoonists participated in the competition are implied to agree on the conditions and regulations of the competition.

  Please fill in and submit the required information on the application form. The works of those who do not complete the participation form will not be evaluated. .

• Evaluation Declarations

• Works submitted to the competition will be evaluated in two stages.

• In the first stage, all the works will be pre-evaluated at a meeting held by Pre-Evaluation Selection

• Committee members. At the end of this meeting, finalist works will be determined. No more than 1/5 of the

• works submitted to the competition will be taken for further evaluation.

• Before continuing with the second stage, finalist works will be announced on the internet between 24 and 31 January 2019.

• Similar and copy works, plagiarism, previously awarded works, and other objections will be decided by the Pre-Evaluation Selection

• Committee members and due to the reasonable objections, on which the committee will reach a consensus, related works will be eliminated.

• At the second stage, finalist works will be re-evaluated by Final Selection Committee Members. This time, evaluation will be done in

• two sub-stages. In the first stage, the number of finalist woks will be reduced to 45-50 and, in the last stage, winners will be determined.

• Evaluation of the submitted works will be done based on three critical issues mentioned below.

• Selection and convenience of the topic,

• Quality of humor,

• Originality of drawing.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

•​The drawings must be black and white or in color.
•​Each participant may present up to 3 drawings (size A3).
•​Resolution must be at least 300 dpi. 
•​It would be preferable that the drawings should not contain any text or comments. 
In case they do, the English or Greek language should definitely be included.

• •​The      use of collage is prohibited.
       •​The drawings must be sent via e-mail.
       •​The drawings that the Artistic Committee will judge that have been      copied from
       other cartoonists’ works will be disqualified.
• •​The      drawings should not have been exhibited before.
       •​The drawings should not have offensive content.
       •​A short CV, the e-mail address, Skype account (if available), and the      postal address of each participant is required.
• •​All      participating drawings may be exhibited in a touring exhibition in Greece      or  abroad.
• •​The      drawings should not have been published previously
       •​Drawings that do not correspond to above requirements will not be      accepted, and the Cartoonist will be informed by e-mail

EXHIBITION
•​They will be exhibited to 200 drawings to be evaluated by the Jury Committee 
•​The prizes will be decided by the Jury Committee
•​Eminent experts from the world of Letters and Arts will make up the Committee.
RIGHTS
•​The drawings may be used in the advertising campaign of the exhibition. On no account should drawings or copies be sold. Commercial exploitation of part or the
whole exhibition is prohibited.

• •​Participating      artists will not receive any kind of payment for their participation.
       •​Copyright of the exhibition belongs to the organizers.
       •​Participants will receive a digital catalogue of the exhibition.
       •​Participation in the exhibition implies full acceptance of all the above      terms.

Carto´nclub, the club of the Latin cartoon, invites you to participate in the Inkchallenge
“The cartoon’s survival at the digital era”

In a place where you can say everything and criticize everything it is difficult to dis- tinguish the real from the virtual,

how should we direct ourselves? Does it benefit us or harm us? Are we more or less free to express our opinions?

Can the excess of information be compared with the lack of it? And on the other hand, how to sur- vive in an era

where attention is volatile and images are appreciated, but devalued by the market? How to face these challenges?

Rules Of Participation
The call is open to all the cartoonists and illustrators of the world.
We will accept no more than 3 cartoons per participant. If you send a comic strip, it must have a maximum of 4 frames.
By submitting the work, you authorize the committee of the event for the publica-tion of your work in print and electronic media.
Theme: The challenges and panoramas of the cartoons and freedom of speech in the digital era, from a personal perspective or as a professional of visual communication.

It can be in a positive or negative sense: how our way of com-municating have changed by the social networks, the openness, the exchange,

the access to information and, on the other side, how the "opinioncracy", the "politically correct", censorship,

false news and media harassment, have undermined freedom of expression.

along with the following information: Full name, artistic name or pseudonym, social networks and /

or web page, high resolu-tion photograph and brief review (500 words maximum).

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF THE PROPOSAL: PDF, JPG, or TIFF format. Print size: 40 x 60 cm

(the orientation of the drawing can be horizontal or vertical). Resolution of 300 dpi. Color mode: CMYK. 

Validity: The deadline to submit your papers is August I st.

Selection Process: Of the proposals received, a selection will be made by the selection board of Cartanclub to choose

the proposals that will be part of the exhibition, they will be informed of the accepted proposals by August 5th and

all the participants will receive a diploma of participation that will be sent by email.

Exhibition: The selected works will be part of an exhibition that will be inau-gurated during the Second International

Encounter of Graphic Humor The Line of Fire on September 5th, 6th and 7th at the Tlatelolco University Cultural Center.

Publications: As part of the memory of the Second International Encounter The Line of Fire, an e-book will be made

Theme: Winning Mentality
DEADLINE 25/10/2019
Amarusa Parama will be organizing "BCF3 International Cartoons Exhibition 2019".

The theme is: Winning Mentality.
The exhibition is part of the "Borobudur Cartoonists Forum 3".
We invite cartoonists from all over the world to participate by sending their original and new work. All texts must be in English.
Send your cartoon as soon as possible in JPEG format (CMYK Color) with 300 dpi resolution. The cartoon will be printed in A3 size to:

Participants are only allowed to send max 5 (five) of their best cartoons
The three best cartoons will be selected by Amarusa Parama and are entitled to a prize of IDR 5,000,000 each.
The exhibition will be held on November 2-3, 2019 at Hotel Pondok Tingal, Borobudur, Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia.

Dear friend cartoonists. I plan the exhibition ‘Wonderful? Wonder World 2019: World Cartoon Forum’. 
I would like to exhibit your cartoons about Freedom of Expression. 
Because freedom of expression as one of the important human rights faces crisis in recent years.
In Japan, freedom of journalism is decreasing, and political cartoons are getting fewer and fewer now. So,
I want to show Japanese people good cartoons about freedom of expression, especially ‘freedom of cartoons.
This is a small exhibition. I want to you participate our plan.・Days: 12-18 September
・Please send 1or 2 with theme ‘Freedom of Expression (including freedom of expression by cartoons)’ to address as follow.
