The international exhibition of Azerbaijan cartoonists in Greece
In July this year, the international exhibition of works by Azerbaijan cartoonists was organized in Lafistio village near Livade, Greece. The cartoon exhibition initiated by our Greek colleagues was held in the first and only cartoon museum and exhibition complex of Greece, in Lafistio with ancient and rich history. The works of Azerbaijani cartoonists, who had functioned within different periods, were on display in the exhibition organized with the support of Azerbaijani Cartoonists Union. Cartoon lovers were provided with the detailed information about Azerbaijani cartoon history with rich traditions in the international exhibition, reflecting the social-political life of Azerbaijan from the XV century till today. Our foreign partners, cartoon lovers and guests will be be able to gather full information about ancient history, rich culture of Azerbaijan, as well as the cartoon history aged more than a century in the international exhibition organized at a high-level. I express my deep gratitude to Mr. Giannis Geroulias, organizer and initiator of the exhibition, well-known cartoonist, on behalf of Azerbaijani artists for his activity on promotion of Azerbaijani cartoon art and high-level organization of exhibition covering the works of Azerbaijani artists.
